It’s the 60th birthday of the Prince of Wales tomorrow and he has a surprise gift on its way to him – except it won’t be a surprise if he reads our blog! A solid silver pencil sharpener is currently being engraved with a special message for him in our workshop and then we have to gift wrap it and send it urgently on its way.
I hope he will be very happy with it and become a customer of ours himself, so that one day we can apply for a Royal Warrant.
While I’m sure that the Prince doesn’t sharpen pencils himself, I hope his butler or his secretary enjoy sharpening his HB’s for him with his birthday gift. And if he doesn’t want it, he can wrap it up for Christmas and give it to Camilla so that she can sharpen her eyebrow pencils, although, like him, she probably has someone that will do this for her!
