It is handmade in our workshops by our highly skilled and experienced silversmiths and when their work is complete it is polished to a high finish before being sent to the London Assay Office where it is hallmarked around the base.

The salt mill is fitted with a durable nylon mechanism that is resistant to corrosion by salt and that can be adjusted to give a fine to coarse grind.

An "S" engraved on the top button of the salt mill differentiates it from its companion piece, our 2.5-inch silver pepper grinder. We can engrave the salt mill with a message, name(s) or anniversary date.
