A Lion Passant in the top left of the photo indicates that these cufflinks meet the quality of sterling silver required by the London Assay Office. 925 shows that the cufflinks are made in sterling silver which has to be made from silver that is 925 parts silver in a 1000.
The letter 'l' indicates the year in which the cufflinks were made and hallmarked, in this case 'l' indicates the year 2010. In 2013 the letter will be 'O'. We will always send you these cufflinks hallmarked for the current year.
The leopard’s head shows that the cufflinks are made in London, while SH is the name of the maker, Stewart Hersey Silversmiths.
When you wear this cufflinks you can tell the story and recall the year and the event they were made for. The silver disc used on the cufflinks is 2mm thick and 18mm round. They are made with the backs set at an angle so that they sit attractively on the cuffs. They use a T-bar that makes them easy to thread through the cuffs of the shirt.
