Silver Egg Cup and Spoon

This sterling silver egg cup is not a mass-produced product, but a handmade gift that has been spun in our workshops from a solid piece of silver by one of our team of highly skilled and experienced silversmiths. When their work is completed it is polished to a high finish before being sent to the London Assay Office where it is hallmarked on the bowl. It is 59mm in height.  The companion silver spoon, measuring 110mm in length, is also hallmarked.

Whether displayed as an ornament or used regularly for egg soldiers, this silver egg cup and spoon make a charming Christening present that can be given by a Godparent, Grandparent, friend or family member. Perhaps it will become the first in babies eggcup collection, a hobby called Pocillovy, from the Latin "pocillum" for small cup and "ovi" for egg.
