Do you design your own men's pendants?
Yes. Our men's pendants are designed by Hersey & Son Silversmiths. Each piece is carefully finished, polished and prepared in our workshop before being presented in a Hersey & Son gift box.
Can I choose the chain length?
Yes. Most of our men's pendants are available with a choice of sterling silver chain lengths to suit different styles and preferences. Each product page includes a guide showing how the available chain lengths look when worn.
Can your men's necklaces be engraved?
Many of our men's pendants can be engraved with initials, names, dates or a short message. Engraving options and character limits are shown on each individual product page.
Are your men's necklaces hallmarked?
Every item is made from 925 sterling silver. Under UK hallmarking regulations, silver items weighing more than 7.78g must be independently tested and hallmarked. Lighter pieces are legally exempt from hallmarking but are still made from 925 sterling silver and are typically stamped "925" on the pendant or chain.
Which men's pendant should I choose?
The right pendant depends on your personal style and the occasion. St Christopher pendants remain a traditional choice for travellers, crosses are timeless classics, while initials, dog tags and symbolic designs such as our North Star pendant make thoughtful and personal gifts.
What occasions are men's silver necklaces suitable for?
Sterling silver necklaces make popular gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, Father's Day and Christmas. Many customers also choose engraved pendants to celebrate personal milestones or achievements.
How should I care for a sterling silver necklace?
Sterling silver is suitable for everyday wear. To keep your necklace looking its best, polish it occasionally with a soft silver polishing cloth and store it in a dry place when not being worn.
